Metropolis, a 1927 german expressionist film directed by Fritz Lang is set as futuristic city which use the context of this building to emphasize between the workers and owner. To make the audience follow the whole movie by made as silent movie which also use to depict the whole futuristic town. Depiction allows the audience to imagine it themselves and also give them an opportunity to add their own idea into this silent movie. In this movie the whole town operate by machine but in fact machine and human become one together. Even machines are invented but human still need to be part of them as controllers because man has uniqueness itself which machine still need to fulfilled.

Metropolis movie also reflect us another side of the factory town which tell us obviously difference between the owner and workers. The owners will get more money and more profits if they runs more working hour while the workers will be more exhausted in this situation. This movie reflect us this situation by using underground to represent as workers’ place and above ground as owners’ place which can tell us an obviously different well among 2 society that owners exploit their advantage and ignore workers’ quality of life.

Le Corbusier also give an idea of the futuristic dystopia that everything will come out from factory even house which will be sell as knock down house to allow the consumer to located and move their houses easier. This idea become real in nowadays but not exact from the Le Corbusier. Gazebo, a knock down house which be available now in the market for the consumer while many people live in the village which has houses in same style that built from the prototype. And now we can found a lot of officer work strenuously in their office with low salary while the owner has superfluous life.
